Travel photography tips and photos from a working pro

I've been a professional photographer for over 30 years. Along the way, I have been nominated for two New York Emmy Awards and was part of the team awarded the Pulitzer Prize. These days, Debbie and I travel together, and I bring my camera everywhere we go.

I try to keep the advice practical. Most of the tips here work on any camera, even the phone in your pocket. Look for good light, find an interesting foreground, and get to the famous spots early. Little things like that make a big difference.
